John 10:27 NIV
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Reflection
In this verse, Jesus reminds us of His intimate relationship with His followers. As His sheep, we are called to listen to His voice, trust His knowledge of us, and follow His lead. But in the noise of daily life, how often do we genuinely pause to hear Him?
Listening to Jesus requires intentionality. It means creating space for prayer, spending time in His Word, and quieting our hearts to discern His guidance. Like sheep who know their shepherd's voice, we become more attuned to Him the more we spend time in His Word and His presence.
The beauty of this promise is that Jesus knows us deeply. He knows our struggles, desires, and fears and lovingly guides us on the right path. Following His voice isn’t always easy, but it leads to a life of peace and purpose under His care.

Practical Application
Start your day with prayer
Before jumping into tasks, spend 5–10 minutes asking Jesus to guide your thoughts and decisions.
Meditate on His Word
Choose a passage or verse to reflect on throughout the day, letting it shape your actions.
Obey promptly
Respond immediately when you sense God nudging you toward action to encourage someone, extend forgiveness, or step out in faith.
As you develop the habit of listening and following, you'll experience the security and joy of walking in step with your Shepherd.
