WHAT WE BELIEVE

God

We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of all people, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

The Church

The church collectively represents the body of Christ. The church gather together in local assemblies for edification, teaching from the Word of God, and ministry to and through each other according to their spiritual gift. The local church provides identity to its members as well as encouragement, interdependence, fellowship, correction, and discipline.

Man

Mankind is the focus of God’s creation. Mankind is sinful by nature and will perish without the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as revealed in His Gospel. It is God’s desire that no one should perish, but that all would come to this saving knowledge through the preaching of the Gospel to a lost and hopeless world.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son and is of the same essence. He is a divine person who is our teacher, guide, helper, and advocate The Holy Spirit brings conviction of sin, revelation of the truth of the Gospel of Christ, and draws sinner to God. The Holy Spirit distributes and administers the Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life.

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. Man will either exist in close union with God or eternally separated from Him. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with God is eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

The Bible

All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is truth without error. The Bible was written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Bible provides direction and guidance for daily Christian living.
